28 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, including 10 children
On the 27th night of Ramadan, Israeli forces breached the third holiest site for Muslims: the Al Aqsa Masjid in Palestine.
The strikes have killed 250 men and women (including 64 children), destroyed 132 buildings in Gaza, and left 2,500 people displaced due to bombs and explosions. In addition, 58,000 people have left their homes.
Our Palestinian brothers and sisters need our immediate support. Violence is continuing to escalate from Gaza to the West Bank.
Muslim Aid USA did not want to launch an emergency for Palestine without finding an impactful program that could help provide aid to those affected.
Our team is now on the ground with trusted partners like PRCS to respond to the crisis in East Jerusalem and Gaza. With the mercy of Allah, the support of our partners on ground, and the generosity of our donors, we are able to assist the injured in two hospitals in Jerusalem and one in Gaza.
We are working alongside PRCS to provide these hospitals with everything that is needed to treat the wounded and the sick, including PPE, medicine (supplied locally), and medical supplies (supplied locally). Our partners have established a 30-bed field hospital in the Al Swanneh neighborhood. The hospital’s goal is to stabilize those injured as much as possible.
We are closely monitoring the current situation and will adjust our aid and assistance as needed.
