FEED THE FASTING
Yemen | Somalia | Rohingya | Gaza | Syrian Refugees
“Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting
person, without any reduction in his reward.” (Tirmidhi)
Last year with the support of donors like you, Muslim Aid distributed more than 1.6 million meals in more than 30 countries around the world. This Ramadan, Muslim Aid USA has made it possible for our U.S. donors to feed our fasting brothers and sisters who are enduring some of the world’s most difficult conflicts.
By donating a Ramadan food pack with MAUSA, you can ensure that brothers and sisters in need have a filling iftar and a nourishing suhur meal each day. From Yemen to our Rohingya brothers and sisters, your gift will improve Ramadan for families in need.
“Whoever is kind, Allah will be kind to him,
therefore be kind to man on earth. He who is
in heaven will show mercy on you.”
may the peace and blessings of Allah (SWT)
be upon him.
The world becomes a better place when we start caring for those in desperate need. Your Sadaqah Jariyah could change the way future of an entire community.
For a child in need, your sponsorship during the month of Ramadan is a beautiful
gift, one that is long-lasting and that can give a child a chance at a brighter future.
For just $45/month or $540/year,
every child you sponsor receives a package of support:
Setting aside a portion of our wealth each year to benefit the poor… This is our duty as Muslims if we have accumulated wealth in this life. It is the third Pillar of Islam, the center of the Pillars of our faith, and a mercy from Allah (SWT) to purify our hearts and start new.
Zakat is mentioned along with prayer in 30 verses of the Qur’an…
“…. and establish regular prayers and give zakat; and loan to God a beautiful loan. And whatever good ye send forth for your souls, ye shall find it in God’s presence, Yea, better and greater in reward and seek ye the grace of God: for God is oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.” (73:20)
Muslim Aid USA is a trustworthy steward of your zakat. We ensure your zakat is delivered to those in need according to Islamic principles and with care to those who are meant to benefit from it.
Over 600 people have been killed and more than 1,700 injured since recent air strikes hit Sana’a and Sa’ada in Yemen. Thousands of people are in desperate need of water and medical aid. According to the British Red Cross, the situation is catastrophic and is getting worse. Through partners on the ground, Muslim Aid will immediately distribute clean water. Imminent plans to deliver food and medical aid are underway. There were more than 300,000 people already internally displaced before this round of conflict and tens of thousands of people have fled their homes to neighbouring countries.
In the last few days, Gaza has experienced increased tensions resulting in violent clashes and further loss of life. Sadly, women and children are amongst those who have been killed.
